DUAL DEGREE PROGRAM

In collaboration with our university partnerships, the Academy offers a dual degree program allowing junior and senior students on a specific curriculum track to graduate with a high school diploma and the equivalent of two-year college degree credits.
Grand Canyon University and Park University, our strategic alliance partners, are highly ranked regionally accredited with over 70 majors leading to undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees.
Additionally, with the emphasis on STEM, corporate relationships for internships and a smart school approach, students will have all the tools needed to achieve their dreams. ASA provides a path to distinction in every discipline from sports, to business competencies, to arts and sciences, and to the technology careers of tomorrow.

5 Distinct STEAM Pathways
One of ASA’s missions is to offer STEAM paths, from which each student can select the one they intend to pursue. These paths are designed to provide both career and college readiness, enabling students to seamlessly transition into degree programs, thereby reducing the time needed to obtain a college degree.
Furthermore, these programs are structured to equip students with skills that allow them to enter the industry workforce immediately while concurrently pursuing their college education, or alternatively, to embark on internships or apprenticeships.
Students will enroll in a single class during each semester throughout their four years of high school. These STEAM programs will receive accreditation as dual credit through our University partners, granting students both a 2-year college degree and a high school diploma upon completion.

At our Academy, we focus on developing the whole student by providing guidance, support, and tools to help each individual achieve their unique goals. Our approach is all about putting academic theory into practice, with support from our partnerships with regionally accredited universities, major league sports organizations, successful executives and celebrity mentors, and top industry leaders.
Constructivist Teaching
In addition to the core curriculum, the Academy incorporates the concept of constructivist curriculum sequence, and emphasizes critical thinking and writing, a Socratic approach, and utilization of source materials at each grade level.
Advancements
Additionally, “advanced course” specializations are also student options. These programs are assessed for extra college credit-hour entitlement and are unique career-prep opportunities to learn within a student’s specific area of interest.
